Our Supplier Services group is responsible for a coordinated approach, making sure we have everything we need to provide world-class customer service. The diversity of our operation means there’s huge variety in the work we do. From products and services to materials and utilities, you’ll be involved in making sure we balance value for money with the best quality.

Our Logistics Operations area has undergone changes to ensure close alignment with our strategy, collaborating closely with our third party logistics providers (3PLs). Working together to drive well planned, scheduled, and executed activities that deliver best practice service expectations.

As the Business Support for Logistics Operations you'll..
- Support day to day logistics operations to ensure secure, effective and timely inventory management and logistics processes
- Develop and document logistics procedures and processes and identify ongoing continuous improvement initiatives, with particular focus on returns
- Provide important administrative/project support across a diverse range of business activities, while ensuring agreed performance standards and key policies are achieved
- This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of different business activities that ultimately support Telstra’s strategic priorities
- You thrive on providing responsive, considered support and being a key enabler for the teams you collaborate with, purposefully contributing to shared goals
- Monitor and collate logistics data to enable the loading of asset data and enable tracking and analysis
- HSE Responsibility: Take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others, comply with and implement any reasonable Telstra HSE instruction, policy, standard, minimum requirement or procedure, and support Telstra to meet its duties under the relevant safety and environmental legislation.

- Acquire knowledge of the physical logistics networks, operations management policies and practices, and third party commercial arrangements
- Sustain a high level of knowledge of supply chain operations requirements, particularly returns
- Demonstrate understanding of supply chain metrics and improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate solid analytic skills converting data into schedules, and then turning insights into meaningful weekly reports that summarise key finding and metrics
