Job Description: Demand Generation Officer
Position Overview:
Demand Generation Officer will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations of agricultural pesticide products within a designated geographic area. This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, developing sales strategies, and fostering strong relationships with distributors and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets for agricultural pesticide products.
Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement.
Provide guidance and support to the sales team to ensure their effectiveness and productivity.
- Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives.
Set clear sales objectives and targets for team members.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Market Development:
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand the customer base.
Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and distributors.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
- Product Promotion:
Plan and execute promotional activities to increase product visibility and brand awareness.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing materials and campaigns tailored to the target audience.
- Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to meet customer demand.
Coordinate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Budget Management:
Prepare and manage the annual sales budget for the assigned area.
Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in sales management within the agricultural industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
