A **Receptionist** plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression for visitors and clients. They are responsible for handling various administrative tasks and providing excellent customer service. Here is a general job description and eligibility criteria for a receptionist role:
1. Greeting and welcoming visitors or clients in a professional and friendly manner.
2. Answering phone calls, transferring calls to the appropriate individuals, and taking messages accurately.
4. Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for meetings and conference rooms.
5. Providing information to visitors and clients regarding the organization, its products or services, and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
6. Assisting with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records.
7. Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area and conference rooms.
8. Cooperating and coordinating with other staff members to ensure smooth office operations.
9. Handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints or redirecting them to the relevant department.
