- To gather inputs for various electrical power sources available in nearby areas of project site by walk in survey.
- To keep track on project execution progress and keep informed to superior
- To prepare pre-lime switchyard SLD and layout and submit to Head-Electrical for his review and approval.
- To prepare bill of material for switchyard and Transmission line packages as per approved scheme.
- To prepare and propose budget of electrical system for the projects and submit for approval.
- To prepare Technical specifications of switchyard package and submit Head-Electrical for review & approval.
- To release of tender document to Suppliers.
- To prepare scope comparison, compiling technical data of the suppliers technical offers.
- To coordinate with contractor/consultant for preparation and submission of optional routes to TRANSCO for review and approval.
- To coordinate with contractor/consultant for final selected route profile and transmission line tower schedule approval from TRANSCO.
- To review project procurement and execution plan submitted by electrical contractor.
- To review the project execution progress with respect to the approved schedule and to keep inform to superiors.
- To coordinate with contractor for getting final project completion and arranging line charging permission from TRANSCO/DISCOM
- To review the switchyard single line diagram (SLD), sectional view and layout
- To coordinate with contractor/consultant for final layout and SLD approval from CEIG/TRANSCO.
- To review project procurement and execution plan submitted by electrical contractor.
- To review the project execution progress with respect to the approved schedule and to keep inform to superiors.
- To coordinate with contractor for getting final project completion and arranging sub-station charging permission from TRANSCO/DISCOM.
- To be well conversant with UTCL Safety Standards for Electrical System in Design, Engineering and to Equipment Suppliers and Contractors.
- To Clarify Verify Adherence to UTCL Safety Standards in Design and Engineering by Vendors and Suppliers.
- Periodic Audit of Drawings and Site Execution to Insure Implementation of Safety Standards in Design and Execution.
- To conduct Vendor Assessment including Factory Visits, Market Feedback, Witnessing the Executed Projects, Financial Capabilities, Service Network, Response, etc
- To update Vendor Information data bank. To compare new vendors technically with existing approved Vendors for selection.

**Qualifications**:
Dipl.in Electrical&Electronics,Master of Electrical Engg.,Bachelor Of Engineering

**Minimum Experience Level**:
8-15 Years
