Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
The process is expected to facilitate the settlement of trade, amendment or rebooking of trades, since once it goes into the market, there will be a number of mismatches when compared to counterparty and this needs to fixed by trade support & settlement team by working with the trades, front office, custodian and the dealers. The criticality of the process requires maker checker controls to ensure all controls are met within the agreed timelines and also market cut offs.

What will you be doing?
- Ensure smooth functioning of the process and compliance to procedures and policy guidelines
- Ensure Service Level Agreements for the process are met as agreed upon with the client
- Review and analyse performance reports against targets on a weekly/monthly basis with Team and with client and investigate causes for performance deviations
- Ensure process compliance with all business rules and regulatory directives, and adherence to all operational processes and procedures such as disaster recovery
- Monitor compliance adherence through timely audits
- Perform trend analysis on MIS/ data and identify deficiencies (tools, metrics and reports) and recommend solutions
- Develop strategic & tactical plans to identify, analyse and effectively respond to client’s needs, emerging trends and best practices
- Liaising with custodian, counterparty, traders and dealing teams
- Support process and procedure enhancements
- Responding to queries in line with stakeholder expectations and ensuring all responses are clear and identify the critical elements of the query to avoid potential rework at a later stage

What we’re looking for:

- Any bachelors degree(Commerce)
- Good knowledge on settlements and market requirements
- Good knowledge on Investment Banking and Capital Market Products
- Good analytical skills
- Strong numeric skills
- Good time management, prioritising tasks to meet the deadlines
- Ability to adapt in a fast moving environment
