We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role **AVP - Treasury Regulatory Reporting.**

**Principal responsibilities**:

- A member of the team that is accountable for the Region’s solo and consolidated treasury reporting submissions to the HKMA and under PRA rules for submission to the Group ensuring that they are of appropriate quality and accuracy to be used.
- Delivering guidance, training and support on regulatory reporting requirements and expectations to stakeholders, including Global Businesses, in respect of the regulatory reporting framework for Liquidity and IRRBB
- Provide technical expertise to relevant stakeholders on Treasury Regulatory Reporting matters
- Oversight of the provision of timely and accurate regulatory reporting outputs with appropriate levels of analytics and commentary and translation into management information for business consumption.
- Ensure considerations of market, industry, regulatory and competitor analysis are included in the Treasury regulatory reporting framework
- Maintain a detailed understanding of Treasury reporting critical issues and drive their resolution
- Ensure effective sharing of information and best practices across Treasury reporting and with key stakeholders
- Input into other Treasury regulatory processes where regulatory reporting information is required (Local ILAAP, Recovery and Resolution Planning, To/ Actual information for Stress Testing)
- Build close links to key stakeholders in other businesses/functions (e.g. Treasury) to ensure well informed perspective when delivering new reporting requirements or changes to existing reporting especially those that have high strategic business impact
- Input into the communication of relevant strategy to internal senior executive stakeholders, providing training and education as appropriate whilst gaining their support to consequential proposals and operational plans.

Requirements
- 5+ years of banking experience
- Understanding appropriate areas of key treasury measures as per the Group’s regulatory obligations (LCR, NSFR, PRA110, FSA017, NTMR, NII sensitivity etc.), Bank financial systems, related business areas, products and their strategic drivers
- Ability to work independently, manage team and influence key stakeholders to ensure there is alignment on the delivery of key initiatives. The job holder requires agility, as well as the ability to work with ambiguity and to quickly assess and prioritise
- Knowledge of the regulatory landscape.
- Understanding of HSBC structure and product range and excellent understanding of the HSBC Group operational structure and its global businesses and functions
- Well-developed capacity to process high volumes of complex information and synthesise key themes and issues
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven experience working across business, regional and country dynamics. Understands how conflicts can be managed to deliver material, strategic and high profile programmes with many stakeholders
- Resilient. Able to manage self and others with diverse perspectives to deliver to tight deadlines
- Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills, with the ability to understand the scope of dependencies across the Group for any given programme.
- Proven ability to deliver against multiple objectives as well as stand-alone tactical tasks
