We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role **AVP **- HBCE Reporting Operations **GSC’s.**

**Principal responsibilities**:

- Support to ensure HBCE complies with the IFRS/FINREP reporting requirements.
- Ensuring Monthly and quarterly reporting are completed as per agreed timelines and with right quality.
- Review of key FR deliverables to ensure appropriate inputs and processes are in place.
- Review of accounting and reporting issues and their impact to processes, controls.
- Support in the HBCE Reporting issues and collaborating with Financial Accounting, CIA, Credit Risk, Business and Group FR teams.
- Prepare and present Credit sign-off packs to Senior stakeholders including Risk, HBCE FC and CFO.
- Delivery of Global business (GB) reporting including sign-offs from Data owners and Business Finance head
- Topical deep dives to assess impact of structural and accounting changes impacting IFRS/FINREP disclosures and incorporate same into FR Delivery.
- Support the Reporting leads in the various Transformation projects, ensuring milestones are delivered.
- Preparing papers and proposals for review with Head of FR.
- Interface with external, internal auditors and data assurance (BRCM).
- End to end delivery of Credit risk related topics for HBCE including relevant sign offs.
- Preparing & presenting audit committee pack on ECL.
- Review and signoff on Global business (GB) submissions for HBCE and subsidiaries.
- Adhere to EBA and IFRS guidance
- Comply with the IFRS/ FINREP/Pillar III reporting requirement on Credit Risk disclosures.
Requirements

**What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required)**
- 8+ years of prior experience in Modeling, Data analytics and large data handling in a financial services firm
- Finance Qualification with 7+ years of work experience
- Financial Reporting work experience under EBA/IFRS/GAAPs
- Change management, analytical Reviews experience
- Working experience on Wdesk and Saracen would be an added advantage.
- Strong business communication skills

- Ability to understand and implement EBA requirements
