Job Title: Resource Mobilization Officer

Reporting to: Team Leader

ABOUT US:
Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital is owned and run by YUGRISHI SHRIRAM SHARMA ACHARYA CHARITABLE TRUST, which is a secular, non profit charitable trust registered under the India registration act,1908. Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital is doing over 70,000 sight restoring surgeries annually, of which 80% are free to poor, Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital stands as the largest eye hospital in Eastern India. It presently operates in Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh with 5 surgical centres and 21 vision centres. By the next 4 years, the hospital plans to increase its surgical output by around 4 times the existing number. It also plans to establish 150 centres across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and built the 1st centre of excellence in eye care in a rural are by 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be responsible for enrolling long term and one time supporters for Akhand Jyoti
- Work through prescribed products, reaching out to individuals in public places and business organisations
- Maintain an understanding of Akhand Jyoti’s programs, campaigns, and causes, to be able to talk convincingly to potential supporters about the organization’s work and ensure team members do the same and monitor the individual fundraiser's day-to-day performance, give feedback and provide motivational reinforcement to achieve the target.
- Effectively and clearly communicate organisational objectives to people and the prospective supporters
- Be responsible for achieving supporter acquisition targets set by the organisation
- Ensure that the supporter’s details are correctly filled in the prescribed formats and incorporated into the daily/weekly reports
- Act as ambassador of Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital by representing the organisation in a responsible manner
- Be responsible for maintaining required level of confidentiality on information relating to Akhand Jyoti and its supporters
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manage

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
