**Overview**:The Showroom Salesperson at The Miller plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within the retail showroom. This position involves interacting with customers, understanding their needs, showcasing products, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience that aligns with The Miller's brand values.
**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Engagement**:Greet customers as they enter the showroom and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Listen actively to customers' inquiries, preferences, and requirements to provide personalized product recommendations.
**Product Knowledge**:Acquire a deep understanding of The Miller's product offerings, including features, benefits, and variations.
Educate customers about product details, pricing, and promotions.
**Sales and Upselling**:Assist customers in making purchasing decisions based on their preferences and needs.
Effectively communicate product value propositions to encourage upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
**Demonstrations and Presentations**:Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and functionality.
Create engaging and informative presentations to highlight key product benefits.
**Inventory Management**:Keep track of available stock and communicate with the inventory team for replenishment needs.
Maintain the showroom's visual appeal by arranging products in an organized and attractive manner.
**Customer Relationship Building**:Establish and maintain positive relationships with repeat customers.
Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
**Cash Handling and Transactions**:Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods in accordance with company policies.
**Store Maintenance**:Keep the showroom clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
Participate in routine store maintenance tasks and ensure product displays are well-maintained.
**Product Knowledge Training**:Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or retail management is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent listening skills to understand customer needs.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
