**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical systems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform routine backup and recovery procedures to protect against data loss and ensure business continuity.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades to enhance system performance and security.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain a secure and efficient computing environment.
- Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and procure necessary equipment and services.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users to facilitate effective use of IT resources and tools.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions and improvements.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, systems security, and data backup/restore procedures.
- Proficiency in administering Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems (HIS), picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
