Job Title : Sr. Compliance Engineer

Location : Ahmedabad

Qualification : M.E./M.Tech. or B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics

Experience : 4+ Years

Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive Engineering regulatory compliance and readiness through certifications
- Understand the product and integrate all the regulatory compliance requirements and drive them through engineering team to ensure the country regulatory compliance.
- Stay current on the changing regulatory environment and understand the impacts to the organization.
- Create and manage execution plans including activities, timelines and dependencies. Maintain program reporting and dashboards (status, milestones, etc.)
- Managing complex projects and support project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control.
- Maintaining and support relationships with governing bodies and authorities.
- Participate and influence the regulatory requirements at meetings by government and industry associations on product compliance. -Keeping pace with the upcoming regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance.
- Coordinate & work with various Engineering Groups, Legal, Technical Operations, and Cyber security teams to collect materials needed to meet the audit requirements
- Partner, interact, and support internal delivery/Cross Functional teams and provide guidance on policies, standards, and procedures.
- Analyze information to proactively identify risks, trends, process improvements and report on risk topics to management.
- Continuously seek out and implement for technology enhancements and process improvements designed to simplify and improve the efficiency, agility, effectiveness, transparency, and relevance of the program.
- Perform review of control design for gaps and weaknesses and drive control improvement.
- Proficient and structured in problem-solving and effectively leading others in root cause & corrective action analysis. Key Performance Indicators

- Effective inputs while requirements finalizing for the new product

**Required Skills**:
1. Thorough understanding of product compliance requirements and managing the compliance process.

2. Excellent knowledge of various IEC/EN/UL standards notified under different regulations for Safety, EMIEMC, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, etc.

3. Hands-on experience in testing and certification of consumer electronics & ITE products at test labs, system integration and hardware testing.

4. Experience of EMI-EMC Testing: RE, RS, CE, RS, ESD, Surge, EFT & Isolation Tests, etc.

5. Experience of Product level certification CE, FCC, STQC, UL, USB-IF, FBI PIV/App. F, BIS, WEEE, REACH, etc.

6. Experience in Reliability Compliance testing like, Cold/Dry heat/Damp heat tests, IP, Rough handling shock, Vibration, Bump, Salt mist, Surface Hardness, RCA, etc.

7. Experience with EU RED directive compliance testing for Product Certification

8. Experience of system level functional Testing, Reliability Testing, Preparing Test plan & Documentation.

9. Basic knowledge of Analog, Mixed & Digital signal, Power Supply, High Speed board, PCB design and verification, component selection.

10. Sound knowledge of Hardware or Product design life cycle

11. Mentoring & handling multiple projects and participate in discussions for high level requirements analysis

12. Experience in labs exploration & vendor communication.

13. Strong Analytical and Executional skills

14. Ability to deal with ambiguity and agility to learn new skill sets while delivering.
