**Overview**:
We are seeking a creative and experienced Industrial Designer to join our team of talented professionals. As an Industrial Designer for Smart Appliances, you will be responsible for developing and designing new and innovative products that will enhance the user experience and improve efficiency in the home. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, create product concepts, and develop prototypes for testing and validation.

**Experience Required : 5+ Years**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to identify user needs, market opportunities, and technical requirements for new smart appliances.
- Design and develop product concepts, taking into consideration usability, aesthetics, and user experience using open-source software such as Blender, Free CAD or Inscape.
- Create 3D models, renderings, and prototypes for testing and validation using open-source software such as Opens CAD, Blender, or Free CAD.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on design concepts.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and materials to inform design decisions and drive innovation.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure design feasibility and optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop product positioning, packaging, and branding strategies.
- Maintain documentation and design files, and communicate project progress to stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial design, preferably in the development of smart appliances or consumer electronics.
- Expertise in open-source 3D modellings software, such as Blender, Free CAD or Opens CAD.
- Strong creative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate and iterate on design concepts.
- Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and prototyping.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pune, Pune - 411003, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
