**Job Description : TM- Corporate Action/Asset Servicing**

**Role**:Asset servicing team Manager

The Asset Servicing team is responsible for the Corporate Action, Corporate Income and the Reconciliation processes within Operations. These processes cover the correct, timely and complete processing of corporate & income events as well as the cash & holding reconciliation of our mandates, funds and proprietary portfolios. The team services both the back office, i.e. accounting for a correct NAV due corporate events as well as the front office (portfolio managers) to make sure that correct holding balances are projected. The team is dedicated in providing the best service by being client focused, eager to improve processes by seeking for efficiency and proactive in staying up to date with market changes.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Process monitoring: responsible for all corporate and income events are processed in our automated environment & instructed to custodian banks in time, accurate and complete
- Exception handling of automated interfaces
- Liaise with Portfolio Managers on voluntary corporate actions & holding breaks (onsite)
- Reconciling cash & holdings: analyse differences between our records and custodians & trend analyses
- Exception handling on events & transactions
- Stakeholder management and follow up covering total value chain incl. accounting aspects (NAV calc.)
- Perform above production and review activities as senior in the team.
- Responsible for process monitoring - Be responsible for all Operational deliveries within agreed Accuracy and Timeliness KPIs.
- Responsible to Manage exception handling and should be one point of contact for all queries before they are raised to Onshore NNIP.
- Monitor various controls, monitoring risk parameters, checklists, like Incident and Events logged and control points.
- Contribute to initiatives like cross training, Succession planning within team.
- Support functional lead in daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
- Coordinate with IT support teams in case of any IT related issues impacting BAU
- Make sure changes are tested and implemented in time and correct
- Take ownership for improving overall process and thereby improving efficiency
- Participate in projects which have an impact on the team
- Support junior and medior officers
- Brings any team member issues to the notice of Functional lead that need attention
- Identify training needs if any, of the team members and ensuring it is addressed
- Bachelor degree in Finance / Economics
- Valid passport
- Flexibility with working in the night shift and on Indian holidays, if needed
- Between 10 - 14 years’ relevant experience in a large financial services firm in an operations position using automated processes and IT interfaces
- Sound knowledge of asset servicing regarding all kinds of financial instruments (i.e. reconciliation IBOR, corporate action events, income processing, reconciliation of coupons, dividends, derivatives, securities lending, coupon & dividend claims) & market practices and infrastructures
- Familiar with trade processing of all kinds of financial instruments (i.e. trading specifics, trade confirmation and settlement, collateral management & custody processes)
- Familiar with regulatory (reporting) requirements and their implementations
- Well versed with MS Office tools - particularly Excel. Macros will be a plus
- Familiar with documenting business processes
