- **Food Preparation and Presentation**:

- Assist in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and garnishing dishes.
- Learn basic cooking techniques and recipes under the supervision of kitchen staff.
- Ensure food items are prepared and presented according to quality standards and presentation guidelines.
- **Beverage Service**:

- Assist with beverage service, including preparing and serving drinks such as coffee, tea, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Learn about different types of beverages, including wines, beers, and spirits, and their proper serving techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of beverage stations and equipment.
- **Table Maintenance**:

- Set up and maintain dining areas, including arranging tables, chairs, and table settings.
- Clear and clean tables between courses and after guests have finished dining.
- Ensure tables are properly stocked with condiments, utensils, and other necessary items.
- **Order Processing and POS Systems**:

- Learn to use the restaurant's POS (Point of Sale) system to input orders, process payments, and generate guest checks.
- Assist in coordinating orders between the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Familiarize yourself with menu items, pricing, and modifiers to accurately input orders.
- **Teamwork and Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and other team members to deliver seamless service to guests.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations.
- Be proactive in offering assistance and supporting team members during busy periods.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices, including handwashing, glove usage, and temperature monitoring.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in work areas, including dining areas, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- **Continuous Learning and Development**:

- Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and educational opportunities provided by the restaurant.
- Seek feedback from supervisors and mentors to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
