As a HR business partner and member of the leadership team within the portfolio that you support, your input is highly valued to shape the People strategy specific to your portfolio; each portfolio is unique and offers you the opportunity to stretch and diversify your experience and exposure across a variety of business and function specific challenges over the course of your career.
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Group Functions HR team primarily supporting our India based Group Services team.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner Group Functions, you’ll coach and advise leadership teams, act as an escalation point to resolve significant and complex issues, and where required, support business leaders to deliver, manage, and sustain change.

You’ll coach and advise leadership teams, act as an escalation point to resolve significant and complex issues, and where required, support business leaders to deliver, manage, and sustain change.
**About Yourself**
- A HR or business-related qualification
- Demonstrated Business partnering experience within a large, networked organization.
- Ability to define strategy and translate that strategy into executable and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to coach and influence senior leaders though sound communication, negotiation, and consultation skills.
- A comprehensive knowledge of contemporary HR systems, processes, and obligations
- A proven track record in delivering results - a can do attitude, willingness to roll your sleeves up and highly organized.
- Experience in organizational design and implementation of appropriate tools and systems.
- Experience in shaping and supporting employee culture and initiatives aligned with company values and ways of work.

The Rio Tinto office in Gurgaon (India) is one of our corporate hubs and houses service and support functions, as well as a portfolio of product groups including Copper, Iron Ore, Diamonds, Minerals, Exploration, Safety Technical & projects, and IA Strategy & Development.
