Area Sales Executive

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the agri retail sector. - Identify and engage with potential clients, including farmers, agribusinesses, agricultural cooperatives, and urban community organizations (RWA, etc.)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention both on the procurement and retail sides of agribusiness.
- Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to clients, offering solutions tailored to their agricultural needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing to potential clients.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote agricultural products and services.
- Utilize CRM systems to track and report sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts accurately.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, marketing, or related field. - Proven experience as a sales executive within the agricultural industry. - In-depth knowledge of agricultural products, practices, and market trends. - Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to travel frequently and work independently. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with ERP softwares is also prefered.
