Job Summary:
Responsibilities: Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal contracts, including but not limited to, commercial agreements, vendor contracts, employment contracts and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). Corporate Governance: Provide legal guidance on corporate governance matters and support the organization in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of corporate resolutions, meeting minutes, and other corporate documentation if require.

Mergers and Acquisitions: Collaborate with the M&A team to conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions and assist in the drafting and negotiation of relevant agreements.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the business and advise the company on compliance matters. Assist in obtaining necessary licenses and permits for the company's operations.

Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research on various corporate and commercial issues and provide well-reasoned legal opinions to stakeholders. Analyze legal risks and implications associated with business decisions and propose risk-mitigating strategies.

Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving legal disputes and manage litigation processes when necessary. Liaise with external legal counsel on litigation matters.

Training and Education: Conduct internal training sessions to educate employees on legal best practices and contractual matters.

Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from an accredited university. Additional post-graduate education in corporate law is a plus.

Admittance to the bar and licensed to practice law in [Jurisdiction].

Proven 2-3 years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer, preferably in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.

Hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating various legal contracts and agreements.

Sound knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
