Sort Center Trainer

The Sort Center Content Creator is responsible for creating and developing training resources and materials for all process paths in the Sort Center. They evaluate and refine processes and techniques to improve learning effectiveness and production across all departments in the building. The Content Creator assists in driving the success of training plans and supporting the needs of the Sort Center workforce. Prerequisite: Willing to work flexible schedules/shifts

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and create engaging training materials and resources for all process paths in the Sort Center
- Manage a team of content curators, instructional designers, and animators to ensure the timely and high-quality development of training materials
- Use and analyze data on a daily basis to improve the learning experience of new hires
- Ensure training materials are kept up to date and delivered against standard, providing a positive learning experience
- Improve processes from gathering feedback and analyzing data
- Collaborate with operations to identify critical skill gaps and create training plans to address them
- Support the recruitment of Instructors and Peer Trainers
- Work in partnership with the agency managers to improve new hire performance
- Manage a team of content curators, instructional designers, and animators in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Post graduation - MBA
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Demonstrates a methodical approach in tasks
- Basic understanding of project management
- Experience as a content creator or instructional designer in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS)
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theory
- Experience with multimedia production, including video production and animation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience
