Print Production Executive Job Description

The Print Production Executive in the advertising industry plays a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end execution of print advertising campaigns. This position requires a combination of project management, creative collaboration, technical expertise, and vendor coordination to ensure that print materials are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Coordination:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including account managers, creative teams, and clients, to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and creative requirements.
- Develop production timelines and schedules aligned with campaign deadlines.
- Coordinate with creative teams to ensure that print designs are optimized for production and meet client expectations.

Print Production Management:

- Source and manage relationships with print vendors, including printers, paper suppliers, and finishers, to obtain competitive pricing and ensure quality output.
- Obtain quotes, samples, and proofs from vendors and manage the production process from prepress to final delivery.
- Oversee the printing, finishing, and distribution of advertising materials such as posters, flyers, brochures, and promotional merchandise.

Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough quality checks on proofs and printed materials to ensure accuracy, color consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Implement quality control procedures to address any issues or discrepancies during the production process.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve any technical challenges and ensure that finished products meet client expectations.

Cost Management:

- Estimate project costs and develop budgets in collaboration with account managers and clients.
- Monitor expenses throughout the production process and identify opportunities to optimize costs without sacrificing quality.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to maximize value and minimize expenses.

Technical Expertise:

- Stay updated on the latest printing technologies, techniques, and industry trends relevant to the advertising sector.
- Provide technical guidance to creative teams on print specifications, file formats, color management, and finishing options.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to artwork preparation, file preparation, and printing processes.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Maintain open communication channels with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the production process.
- Act as a liaison between creative teams and print vendors to facilitate smooth collaboration and resolve any conflicts or discrepancies.
- Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and any potential issues or delays

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Diploma in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in print production management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in print production software and tools.
- Knowledge of printing processes, materials, and equipment.
- Negotiation skills and ability to manage budgets effectively
- Ability to manage a team of designers, production specialists, and other staff
- Excellent project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to printing and production

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
