**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drive the development and implementation of Affine’s ML platform accelerator solutions.
- Engage with clients to understand their business context
- Develop services and pipelines that support the entire Machine Learning Lifecycle, from development to deployment.
- Create scalable microservice architectures capable of handling high-volume data requests and high concurrency.
- Design solutions that ensure high availability, low latency, and high throughput.
- Improve system reliability by troubleshooting and resolving identified issues.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing technical oversight and guidance to project teams during the delivery of platform solutions.

**Job Requirement**
- 10-15 years of experience in server-side/back-end full-cycle product development in a production environment using Python.
- Over 4 years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, Data Mining, hypothesis validation, and algorithm design, with strong familiarity with modern ML stacks (e.g., Scikit-Learn, NLP, PyTorch).
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing production deployments on major cloud platforms, including Azure, Google Cloud or AWS
- 3+ years of core experience as a lead engineer in a machine learning-enabled product platform within a backend role.
- A strong understanding of MLOps concepts, including batch and real-time model deployment on modern cloud stacks.
- Proficient in Python programming, with a solid foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Skilled in SQL and RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle, as well as familiarity with NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB or MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with various cloud database technologies, including Redshift, Cosmos DB, and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and deployment processes, along with a strong grasp of CI/CD technologies and observability.
- Proven experience in building scalable data pipelines, event-driven services, and designing and deploying machine learning algorithms in production environments.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced development settings and possess strong zero-to-one build skills.
- Excellent skills in creating technical specification documentation and structuring release cycles.
- Experience with Python server frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
- Experience implementing event-driven architectures and streaming data technologies such as Apache Kafka and Apache Nifi.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems (GIT), containerization using Docker, etc.
- Proven experience managing a live product or platform while collaborating effectively with product managers and business stakeholders to achieve business goals.
- Passionate about building high-performing teams and promoting efficient organizational structures.
- High integrity and a strong desire for continuous learning and growth as a software engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
