**The Diagnostic Centre Nurse is responsible**:

- For taking patient consent for CT Scan (and collecting clinical history of patients in order to carry out CT scans.
- Additionally, they must be able to put IV cannulas while adhering to hospital policy and procedure.

**Appropriate qualifications should include**:

- a registered nurse certificate or equivalent; however a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

- Patient Care - provide superior patient care at all times, meeting or exceeding hospital standards; ensure that patient's needs are met in a timely manner.
- Documentation - ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of clinical records; maintain confidential patient information and ensure privacy compliance is upheld at all times.
- Clinical Skills - demonstrate advanced clinical skills while performing CT scans, putting IV cannulas, and administering emergency treatments.
- Teamwork - foster an effective working relationship with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
