**The Team**

The Business Intelligence Team directly reports in to the CEO’s Office at WeWork India. We strongly believe that data sits at the center of our business, providing insights into the effectiveness of our physical and digital products & features. The intent of the BI & Analytics team is to power the growth of the company by supplying the right insights and enabling teams as well as the Leadership to take the best decision for the organization.

**About the Role**:
As a Data Analytics Intern, you will assist in managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, the instinct of a business data analyst, and deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases, with the goal of providing the insights required to power our organization’s growth. The role will also entail gaining knowledge of data engineering and exploring the source systems from which data flows into our central data warehouses.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Data Exploration, Forecasting, Analytics and Reporting
- Gain familiarity with the process of building dashboards - from documentation of report specifications to source data finalization & ETL operations to mock-up design and subsequent dashboard development & testing
- Explore source system data, and collaborate with data engineers in the testing of ETL Operations and data transformation.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the dashboards developed with the test cases successfully maintained and managed on the Agile project management tool used internally. Close the loop with stakeholders to fix the errors identified during testing and complete the necessary documentation on fixes deployed to correct errors
- Coordination with BI experts and analysts for customized data models and integration. Code updates, new code development, and reverse engineering.
- Produce exploratory analyses and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, and assist them in identifying early trends in order to facilitate quick and informed decision making.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of experience in Business/Data Analytics, focusing on exploratory studies - knowledge of data engineering and back-end systems preferred
- Advanced Financial Modeling and Data Analytical Skills. Expected to be highly skilled and proficient in Python, python libraries for data science, basic SQL, tableau/power BI, Excel & creating dynamic dashboards.
- Must be able to build and maintain complex predictive models.
- Must be able to synthesize and draw conclusions from copious amounts of raw data
- Self-starter that takes initiative and is driven by new challenges
- Strong work ethic and rigorous attention to detail
- Strong communicator with ability to present concepts, recommendations and analyses to senior management in a clear, concise and actionable manner
- Demonstrated success in team collaboration; ability to work well cross-functionally
- Passion for learning and relentless improvement; able to work comfortably under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
