**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As an Aspera Devops/Build engineer you will work with the Webapps team developing infrastructure and supporting new releases of Faspex, Shares, Console, and Orchestrator software for customers such as Walt Disney, Warner Bros, Netflix, BP, Shell, and Sony. Aspera’s software enables customers to transfer files at enhanced speeds, allowing for remote workflows that stretch across the globe.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Software Development Experience - 2 years
- A strong understanding of shell scripting - 3 years
- Experience working on an Agile team - 2 years
- Knowledge of Apache and Nginx - 2 years
- Experience with building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Travis - 2 years

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Experience building open source software
- Experience using Openshift
- Experience with writing tests
- Experience with TDD development
- Experience building and running containers - 2 years
- A strong understanding of Kubernetes - 2 years
