**Job description**
**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Identify market opportunities and guide the team in developing and qualifying leads, focusing on maximizing sales outcomes.
- Drive the team's performance by setting clear targets, monitoring sales metrics, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
- Foster strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty, resulting in sales closures and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct sales pitches and negotiations, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary tools and training to deliver compelling presentations and achieve sales objectives.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure a cohesive approach to client service that aligns with company goals and client needs.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Sales Leader or similar role, with a strong background in sales within the marketing solutions or public relations sector.
- In-depth understanding of press release distribution and the public relations industry.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team towards achieving sales excellence.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a competitive, results-driven environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, with 3-5 years of experience in sales, inside sales, or business development.
