Position Summary: As a Customer Service Representative in the CHA (Customs House Agent) and Freight Forwarding industry, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support and managing client relationships. You will serve as a vital point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met, and inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Your role will involve coordinating and facilitating freight forwarding operations while adhering to relevant industry regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships.
Handle and resolve customer complaints, aiming for swift and effective resolutions.

Order Processing and Documentation:Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
Prepare necessary documentation for international shipments, including customs documentation, invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork.
Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth order processing and compliance with applicable regulations.

Freight Forwarding Coordination:Collaborate with freight carriers, shipping agents, customs officials, and other stakeholders to arrange transportation, including booking cargo space, negotiating rates, and scheduling shipments.
Track and monitor shipments throughout the logistics process, providing regular updates to customers regarding the status of their cargo.
Address and resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process, proactively communicating with customers and stakeholders to find suitable solutions.

Compliance and Documentation Management:Stay up-to-date with relevant customs, trade, and freight forwarding regulations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and documentation in appropriate systems or databases.
Ensure proper filing and retention of shipping and customs documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique requirements and providing personalized solutions.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, sales, and logistics, to ensure effective coordination and smooth service delivery.
Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing customers, contributing to business growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields are advantageous.
- Proven experience in customer service or a similar role, preferably within the CHA and Freight Forwarding industry.
- Sound knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, and logistics processes.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding software, documentation systems, and tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
