**About the Company**:
Our client is India’s first privately owned angel network based out of Mumbai. Founded by a team of three originally from IIT Bombay in 2014, it helps to improve early stage investment outcomes. The team accomplishes this by providing professional assistance to investor-members in company evaluation and the portfolio companies in their operations. The network has made more than 50 investments in the recent past including successful startups like ShopKirana, SuprDaily, OckyPocky and SmartCoin, among others. This platform has grown rapidly and currently has 200+ investors in India, Middle East, North America and Europe.

**About the Job**

As a Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for leading investing operations of the company covering deal sourcing, evaluation, pitching to investors, documentation and disbursal comprising a team of 5 professionals.

What you will do:

- Interacting with Sales & Marketing teams for client acquisition and retention
- Interacting with investors, members and representing the organization in external events and industry bodies

What you need to have:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting
- MBA/CA/CFA is desirable
- 5+ years of experience in early stage investing in an angel network, fund or accelerator managing a team of professionals
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with junior and senior-level business partners
- Experience/ willingness to learn Alternative Investment regulatory environment
- Previous experience of heading operations of an angel network
