**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laptop and Desktop Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of laptops, desktops, and related peripherals. The technician will work both in-house and on field visits to client locations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring efficient operation of devices, and providing excellent customer support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Troubleshooting and Repair**:

- Diagnose and repair hardware issues, including CPUs, motherboards, displays, RAM, storage, and power supplies.
- Identify and resolve software issues such as operating system errors, driver conflicts, and malware infections.
- Perform hardware upgrades, including RAM and storage installations, and handle OS/software installations or updates.
- **Field Work**:

- Visit client locations to diagnose and repair equipment onsite as needed.
- Ensure that all required tools, spare parts, and documentation are prepared before field visits.
- Adhere to customer policies and protocols while on their premises, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Provide remote or onsite support to clients for any urgent or recurring issues.
- **Customer Support**:

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their technical issues.
- Explain repair processes, associated costs, and provide recommendations to prevent future issues.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and reliable support.
- **Testing and Quality Assurance**:

- Test repaired devices to ensure functionality and stability before returning them to clients.
- Conduct quality assurance checks for devices repaired onsite to confirm all issues have been resolved.
- **Documentation and Inventory Management**:

- Document each repair, including details of issues found, work completed, and parts used.
- Manage and order inventory of essential parts and tools as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- **Maintenance and Preventative Care**:

- Offer maintenance services to improve device longevity and performance.
- Provide customers with tips for optimal device care and recommend periodic servicing.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma in Electronics, IT, or Computer Science; or relevant certification (CompTIA A+, IT Fundamentals, etc.).
- **Experience**: 1-2 years in laptop/desktop repair, or relevant hands-on experience.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in hardware repair, software installation, troubleshooting, and virus/malware removal.
- **Soft Skills**: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- **Field Work Requirements**: Ability to travel to client locations, work flexible hours if needed, and carry necessary repair equipment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience with a variety of hardware brands and operating systems.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic server management.
- Ability to handle emergency repairs with a quick turnaround time.

Pay: ₹8,932.85 - ₹20,000.00 per month
