**What will you do**:
As an SSDE II, you will play a crucial role in validating and verifying the functionality, usability, and performance of our product, ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, to maintain the highest standards of software quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Work closely with product managers and development teams to understand product requirements and use cases and translate them into detailed test plans and test cases.
- Manually execute test cases to validate product features, functionalities, and user interfaces across different browsers and platforms.
- Thoroughly investigate and document software defects and issues using bug tracking systems, providing clear and concise information for developers to reproduce and resolve problems.
- Assist in performance testing activities to validate the product's stability and responsiveness under various load conditions.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and contribute to the enhancement of the QA process.
- Maintain clear and well-organized documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results
- 8 to 12 yrs. exp in exploratory test case analysis.
- You understand software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
- You should be proficient in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- You have familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail etc.
- You should have knowledge of database queries and scripts.
- You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
