**Job Title**: Tally Caller

**Job Summary**:A Tally Caller plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate tracking and management of inventory, orders, and shipments within a warehouse or distribution center. They use various tools and systems to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent errors in shipping and receiving.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Tracking**: Accurately count and record incoming and outgoing inventory using manual counting methods or electronic devices such as barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.

**Data Entry**: Enter inventory data and update records in the inventory management system to reflect accurate stock levels, item locations, and other relevant information.

**Order Verification**: Ensure that outbound orders match the picking lists or customer invoices. Check products against packing slips and bills of lading to prevent shipping errors.

**Quality Control**: Inspect items for any damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the relevant department for resolution.

**Organization**: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that items are stored in their designated locations for easy access and retrieval.

**Communication**: Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate and communicate any inventory-related issues or discrepancies.

**Reporting**: Generate reports on inventory levels, order accuracy, and any discrepancies. Report this information to the warehouse management team for decision-making and process improvement.

**Safety**: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others in the warehouse.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and data entry.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.

Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address discrepancies quickly.
