- ** Version Control Administrator**

**Experience - 3 Years to 6 Years**

**Your responsibilities will include:

- **
- Manage and maintain the organization's source code repositories (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
- Ensure that version control practices are followed, including proper branching, merging, and tagging of code.
- Monitor code integration and ensure adherence to proper code versioning, especially in large-scale projects.
- Manage access control and security settings for the code repositories.
- Oversee the preparation and deployment of code for production releases.
- Manage version control for software builds and releases, ensuring rollback strategies are in place for any potential issues.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth workflows for code integration and deployment.
- Assist in planning and executing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines to streamline software releases.
- Facilitate communication between development teams to ensure consistent practices across projects.
- Implement and maintain backup strategies for the code repositories to ensure no loss of critical assets
- Please make sure disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested for source control systems.
- Ensure tools are integrated and optimized for collaboration, security, and productivity (e.g., Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence).
