Social Media Marketing Intern

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team and assist in promoting our brand, engaging with our community, and showcasing the beauty of love through our online presence.
**Job Type**: Internship (Paid/Unpaid, specify duration, e.g., 3-6 months)
**Hours**: [Part-time/Full-time, specify hours per week]
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Content Creation**: Assist in creating visually stunning content (photos, videos, graphics, and blog posts) that captures the essence of weddings and our clients’ stories. This includes editing and posting wedding-related content across various social media platforms.
- **Social Media Strategy**: Support the development and execution of social media campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, promote events, and engage with our target audience (couples, wedding vendors, and event planners).
- **Scheduling & Posting**: Manage the scheduling and posting of daily/weekly content on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and other platforms using tools like Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite.
- **Engagement & Community Management**: Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, building relationships with potential clients, vendors, and other industry professionals.
- **Hashtag Strategy & Trend Monitoring**: Research trending wedding-related hashtags, topics, and challenges to ensure our posts remain fresh and relevant. Track the latest trends in wedding planning, fashion, and event design.
- **Campaign Support**: Assist in planning, promoting, and executing social media campaigns for seasonal promotions, wedding showcases, or events such as bridal expos or behind-the-scenes planning processes.
- **Collaborations & Influencers**: Work alongside influencers, wedding vendors, and brand partners to promote collaborations, giveaways, or styled shoots, and increase brand visibility.
- **Analytics & Reporting**: Help monitor the performance of social media posts and campaigns, gather insights from analytics, and provide reports on engagement and growth metrics.
- **Content Curation**: Research wedding trends, seasonal themes, and inspiration to keep content up-to-date and engaging for our audience.
**Requirements**:
- Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field.
- Strong passion for weddings, event planning, and social media marketing.
- Proficient in creating visually appealing content using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Lightroom.
- Basic video editing skills (e.g., iMovie, Adobe Premiere) and familiarity with Instagram Reels formats.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging captions and posts that resonate with brides, grooms, and wedding professionals.
- Familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and the wedding industry’s best practices.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and stay on top of wedding industry trends.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Previous experience in wedding planning or working with wedding-related brands is a plus.
