Required Pharmacist for Shrimann Hospital Jalandhar

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Technical**

1. To ensure adequate stocks of all drugs, disposables, toiletries and other items.

2. To arrange all the drugs in alphabetical order (category wise).

3. To follow FEFO (First Expiry First Out) method.

4. To ensure that all medicines with close expiry date are taken out of the shelf.

5. To ensure the prescriptions are honored in totality. In case any medicine is not available, the pharmacist should ensure to get the required drugs through telephone or by sending someone to procure the drugs.

6. To give data of non moving drugs to the In-charge monthly.

7. To give list of non-available drugs to the In-charge daily.

8. To submit the following documents to the finance department daily.
- IPD Credit bills along with the prescriptions and statement.
- OPD credit Bills along with the prescriptions and statement.
- OT credit Bills along with the prescription.
- Cash bills along with statement.
- Daily cash/ credit card settlement.

9. To get the pharmacy audited by external auditors on quarterly basis.

10. To send indents for replenishment of drugs.

11. To generate the indent on the pharmacy store through ROL system, after checking the actual daily requirement.

12. To keep IV fluids neatly stacked. To ensure the clarity check is done before dispensing.

13. To maintain stocks in order.

14. To return all non-moving / breakage’s / expiry / damaged drugs to store after approval from the In-charge.

15. To follow the rules & regulations as required by the Drug Control department.

16. To store all drugs and disposables as per the instructions given by the manufacturer.

**Administrative**

1. To follow hospital service rule and office orders.

2. To implement NABH standards and QEMS.

3. To train subordinates and housekeeping staff.

4. To conserve energy.

5. To maintain good and cordial relationship with your H.O.D., colleagues and subordinates.

**Public Relations**

1.To welcome all patients & their attendant with smile.

2. To stand and talk very politely with all patients and give your best to solve their problems.

3. To ensure a clean, noise free & comfortable environment for patients.

4. To make sure that serious patients immediately get medicine without fail.

5.To respond positively and politely about all queries of the customers.

**Discipline**

4. Maintaining cordial relations with each other

**Up keep of shop**

1. To keep shop premises clean / tidy.

2. Unauthorized persons are not allowed to enter the shop.

**Qualification : D.Pharma./B. Pharma.**

**Experience required : Minimum 1 year of experience.**
