**Job Specification of Community Moderators**

LootMogul Community moderators are responsible for maintaining a safe, positive, and engaging environment for members of their online community, especially on Telegram and Discord. The following is a list of duties that community moderators need to typically perform:
**Enforce community guidelines**: Community moderators are responsible for enforcing the rules and guidelines set by the community. This includes monitoring user-generated content, deleting inappropriate messages or comments, and warning or banning users who violate community standards.

**Respond to member inquiries**: Community moderators are often the first point of contact for community members who have questions, complaints, or concerns. They should be able to respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

**Facilitate discussions**: Community moderators should facilitate discussions and encourage participation among members. They should be able to ask relevant questions, provide feedback, and foster a sense of community spirit.

**Organize events**: Community moderators can also organize events and activities to engage members and foster a sense of community. This can include online tournaments, competitions, or other fun activities that align with the interests of the community.

**Provide feedback to reporting managers**: Community moderators should communicate regularly with community managers to provide feedback on how the community is functioning. They should be able to offer suggestions for improving the community experience and addressing any issues that arise.

**Maintain a positive attitude**: Community moderators should maintain a positive attitude and be welcoming to all members. They should encourage positive interactions and be respectful of diverse opinions and backgrounds.

**Stay up to date on community trends**: Community moderators should stay up to date on trends and changes within the community. They should be aware of any changes to the community guidelines or policies, as well as new features or updates to the platform.

**Brand Building Activities**: External brand-building activities on Telegram and Discord, reaching out to new potential customers or audiences through collaborations with other brands or influencers, targeted advertising, cross-promotion, and participating in relevant communities or groups. Help increase brand visibility, build trust, and attract new followers or customers.

**Social Handle Activities**: As and when required, help social media executive and manager with the execution of planned activities, creating community campaigns on 3rd party tools like link3, Crew3, Galaxe, and Gleam.

Overall, community moderators are responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and engaging environment for members of their online community. Ensuring the growth of the community and retention of existing members. They play an important role in enforcing community standards, facilitating discussions, and fostering a sense of community spirit.

**Requirements**:

- Good communication skills.
- A proactive approach.
- Working operational knowledge and understanding of online community platform moderation tools (Forums, Blogs, Photo Uploads, Commenting etc.). Especially Discord and Telegram.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and report statistics
- Team player, detail-focused and reliable
- Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
- Have a good knowledge of the principles of customer service
- This position will have rotating shifts, so availability to work days, evenings, nights, as well as weekends as and when required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Flexible shift
- Monday to Friday
