Within the area of Buying at Volvo CE Purchasing, Bangalore we are looking for an experienced After Market Buyer, who has the drive and passion to be part of a great team to work on future challenges.

**Main Tasks**
- Responsible for a set purchasing portfolio and region - defining aftermarket sourcing strategies, taking improvement actions, and monitoring KPI/PIs for the responsible (sub) commodities and/or markets.
- Driving QSCC targets by strategically and actively collaborating with the suppliers and stakeholders in Operations, Technology, Sales and GTO SML.
- Support the execution of Volvo CE strategies and sites’ objectives.
- Optimize, monitor, follow up the supply base for Aftermarket supply.
- Collaborate with and support Volvo Group Truck Operations (GTO) in the areas of Logistics Optimization, Parts Availability, Back Order Recovery and Supplier Delivery Precision.
- Contribute to and execute the strategic initiatives driven by Sales-Uptime and Parts function.
- Drive continuous improvement in the Performance, Competence and Personal Development.
- Work in compliance with Volvo CE Processes, The Code of Conduct, The Volvo Way and Volvo’s Core Values - Quality, Safety and Care for the Environment.

**Required Qualification & Experience**:

- Bachelors/ Master’s Degree in Engineering with 6-8 years of experience in after market buying
- Proven experience in sourcing for an international group
- Good understanding of sourcing strategy process and has an holistic view on its (sub) commodity and/or market issues
- High technical understanding, fluent in reading and understanding drawings/Technical information
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Creative attitude and energetic. Achievement driven
- Experience on supplier quality and development will be an added advantage
- Team Player
- Fluent in English
