Main Responsibilities:

- Achieves company’s objectives in terms of cost-reduction, supply base management, quality and delivery time.
- Anticipates needs of tomorrow
- Manages his/her team and is responsible for their performance and results
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Social Responsibility within Function
- Respects and ensures his/her team respects PO code of conduct and PO non-competition code of conduct, CSR, and all procedures and processes
- Deploy and ensure Best Practices are applied Builds with his/her team and extended one the strategies for global commodities deploy and track it.
- With legal support negotiates contracts with Commodity suppliers to reach PO objectives in term of industrial/operations requirements, savings and cash expectations
- Sourcing performance, Negotiations of payments conditions, Business plan & strategy commodity in place, Contractual & legal agreements frames in place.
- Proposes the commodity strategy and manages the supply base accordingly
- Responsible for his market analysis (benchmark, professional fairs, market trends, innovation...)
- Manages the suppliers relationships according to PO purchasing policy
- Follows and reports the suppliers performance
- Leads the suppliers sourcing process in the respect of the procedures
- Leads negotiation with the suppliers and internal customers
- Incharge of contractualization with suppliers
- Responsible for his commodity in terms of Q, C, T
- Promotes the technical savings proposed by the suppliers
- Responsible for Tracking & maintaining Purchasing budget
- Responsible to for performing strategy for suppliers.
- Responsible for Price Indexing with Supplier, Negotiations and presenting for Internal Approvals.
- Takes part or leads internal working groups for technical savings identification or problem solving
- Leads each time necessary the problem solving process
- He’s responsible for the risk management of his commodity (financial health of suppliers, M&A, dependence ratio )
- Commits & Manages his portfolio in line with budget
- Committed to the respect of legal & environmental rules applicable on its markets
