Responsibilities:
Develop and execute commodity strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Manage supplier panel, introducing new competitive sources of supply, standardizing, harmonizing, and bundling suppliers, including global and best-cost country sourcing. Drive continuous cost optimization for assigned commodities, contributing to the realization of value-adding and saving targets. Design and execute tendering processes, including tender strategy, negotiation, and contract management. Lead negotiations with suppliers, visit current and potential suppliers as necessary. Conduct demand planning and management, analysing historical demand and creating demand forecasts. Analyse relevant supplier markets, reporting on purchasing market developments. Coordinate Supplier Relationship Management activities, including supplier risk management and supply chain sustainability improvement. Manage communication with stakeholders and handle data requests effectively. Ensure compliance with all company procedures and standards.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Prior purchasing experience, preferably in the Automotive Sector. Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Spanish, French, Chinese, or German are advantageous. Familiarity with SAP and proficiency in Office tools preferred. Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and high adaptability. Entrepreneurial mindset and assertiveness.
