We are representing one of clients **“Nexist Accounting”**

Nexist Accounting is seeking a dynamic bookkeeper to join their team. We are an accounting consulting practice advising businesses in Australia. If you are looking for a challenge and able to work under the guidance of a CFO then this role would be ideal for you.

**Essential duties**:
Working closely with the CFO and clients, you will be responsible for delivering high quality financial reporting and providing critical insights to influence commercial outcomes. Specifically, your role will include:

- Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Ad hoc analysis and projects
- Accounts receivable/payable
- BAS, Payroll, End of Month Accounts, Bank recs, and general Bookkeeping.
- Client and practice bookkeeping tasks.
- Preparation and completion of Business Activity Statements.
- Produce financial reports using Xero
- End to end payroll processing
- Assist in the preparation of cash flow projections
- Excellent customer service skills

**The Successful Applicant**

The successful applicant will hold a degree in accounting and have sound experience in a complex commercial organisation. Your interpersonal and communication skills should be good, allowing you to portray confidence in delivery of your reports and in the development of strong professional relationships with those within and outside of the finance team.

You’ll have a great attention to detail and are very effective in taking and following instructions. You’ll be willing to learn to grow your own knowledge and experience while contributing to the organisation.

**Other requirements**:

- Finance qualification - A degree in accounting.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar role
- Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office skills
- Advanced Xero skills with at least 2 - 3 years experience working with the software
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
- Experience working overseas companies, preferably Australia.
- An MBA from a reputed institute would be preferred but is not required.
