Job Profile:
Aastrika Foundation is looking for a programme coordinator, who will be the point person for operationalizing the trainings that will be conducted under the Sphere In-Person (SIP) programme. Aastrika is in the process of developing a comprehensive training programme (SIP), which uses different methodologies to teach a variety of topics related to maternal and newborn health. This is to support the healthcare system to upskill and upscale healthcare providers and students across both public and private facilities and educational institutions to ensure that high quality care.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Understand the Sphere In-Person programme, in order to anchor and smoothly operationalize and coordinate the trainings for various partners.

2. Organise and coordinate with the internal team and partners to draw out a training calendar.

3. Liaise with the internal team and partners as needed and ensure colleagues and supervisors are apprised of all aspects of the training.

4. Manage travel and logistics of all resource people and trainers.

5. Ensure all aspects of reporting each training is completed, collected and collated - such as photos, videos, process followed in the training, etc.

6. Ensure all the processes and documentation is done at the right time, and follow up with partners as needed.

7. Collect, maintain, clean and contribute to analysis of data collected to measure the impact of the Sphere In-Person programme.

8. Maintain or coordinate with the midwifery educators to ensure that all training equipment reaches the training site.

9. Procure, maintain and manage stocks for all the equipment required for the training.

10. Be ready to travel, if and when there is a need.

11. Ensure timelines, goals, and objectives are met.

12. Contribute to other activities and take up roles / tasks as needed.

13. Identify challenges / roadblocks, and look at finding solutions to ensure smooth implementation of the programme.

Skill Requirements:
1.Minimum of five-seven years in playing an administrative and / or a coordinator role.

2. Excellent communications skills.

3. High proficiency in Word, Excel and PPT programmes.

4. Excellent interpersonal skills, a proven record of handling a variety of stakeholders, with an ability to do conflict management.

5. The role requires a person who is self-driven, has a high sense of accountability and the ability to work independently; is meticulous; and is attentive to details.

6. This is a lean start-up, and the team member will be expected to contribute as an all-rounder by being involved in a whole array of work besides what is mentioned on the job description.

Educational Qualification:
The applicants should have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any relevant field, such as Social Work, or its equivalent.
