**Summary**:
We are seeking a seasoned and result-oriented leader to join our team as the GM of the Break Bulk and Heavy Lift Chartering Division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our break bulk and heavy lift chartering operations, driving profitable growth, and establishing the division as a market leader.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and execution of a strategic vision for the Break Bulk and Heavy Lift Chartering Division, aligned with the overall company strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders, securing new business opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Manage a team of chartering professionals, brokers, and support staff, ensuring a high-performing and motivated team environment.
- Oversee all chartering activities, including chartering negotiations, fixture execution, and cargo documentation.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate exposure to market fluctuations and ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and develop effective competitive strategies.
- Drive profitability through efficient vessel utilization, cost optimization, and negotiation of favorable chartering terms.
- Manage financial performance of the division, ensuring adherence to budgets and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Implement and maintain robust safety and compliance standards across all chartering operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations and trends in the break bulk and heavy lift chartering market.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in the maritime shipping industry, with a proven track record of success in break bulk and heavy lift chartering.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team to achieve ambitious goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record of driving profitable growth and exceeding financial targets.
- Deep understanding of the break bulk and heavy lift chartering market, including chartering terms, vessel types, and industry regulations.
- Strong commercial acumen and an ability to identify and manage risks effectively.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Maritime Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management, is preferred.
- Fluency in English and additional language proficiency is a plus.
