Job Title: Assistant Officer - Operation & Technology

Job Location

About Plan:
Core Responsibility:

- Document the project expenses on ground and share with the Mumbai HQ Team.
- Setup of Project Logistics for the setup - Guest House, Office, Wi-Fi etc.
- Record and maintenance of Office supplies and logistics.
- Support Supply Chain Lead for material procurement and assisting with execution of the project.
- Support Community Lead for Behavioral Change Activities and management of volunteers.
- Provide translation utilities for the ground team.
- Identify the Communication and campaign strategy for every locality in the city.
- Develop creatives, videos etc. in vernacular language throughout the project.
- Co-create the Communication and campaign strategy for every locality in the city.

- Assist the Supply chain lead and HQ in technology deployment in Pondicherry.
- Providing assistance for conducting meetings with Government officials including the Commissioner/Chairman at the Urban Local Body and getting their buy
- in for technology deployment.
- Managing spatial mapping, property survey and required data gathering as prescribed by the HQ team.
- Data creation and management required for software backend.
- Collateral management required for on ground tech deployment.
- Conducting capacity building session with ground MSWM staff and city administration form tech onboarding.
- Seeking inputs for technology customization as per ground operation (daily waste services) on monthly basis.
- Ensuring timely tech deployment and monitoring day to day field operation
- Data analytics of the dashboard to take data driven decisions
- Preparing reports, proposals and data sheets to effectively manage project within budget and cost saving.
- Updating Technology Lead (HQ) on project deliverables on daily and weekly basis.

Education and Experience:

- 1-2 years past experiences in development and social impact sector or Full -time professional with bachelors and having 2-3 years past experiences in development and social impact sector.
- Knack to deal & communicate with Municipal Staff, Government and Political leadership and key stakeholders
- Ability to lead the team of interns and resolve problems on the go.
- Prior ground experience in Solid Waste Management (SWM) is preferred.
