**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Summary**

**As a UAT Automation Tester you will build, execute and maintain automation framework of User Acceptance test case scenarios**. This role supports identifying and mitigating pre-production (test) defects and maintaining a sustainable automation framework for UAT. As a member of the team, you will be an advocate for the business ensuring positive and negative results from testing are communicated, tracked, not repeated, and ultimately demonstrate to business partners that functionality is as expected.

**Responsibilities**:

- Automation script development skills (well versed in programming language preferably Java)
- Strong VB scripting, Excel Macros, QTP/UFT/Selenium skills, Assist in the definition and documentation of test strategies
- Act as a key contributor in the continued automation development and Frameworks Maintenance
- Effectively manage multiple streams of work and to deliver in a timely manner, Ensure automation tests adhere to established process and standards
- Write Automation scripting and queries, Develop Testing Scripts using various Testing Tools (QTP, UFT, Selenium, etc.), Experience with web testing methods and writing SQL queries (SQL Server 2012 and higher)
- Knowledge on CICD tools like Jenkins and version controlling tools like Bitbucket, git, Communicate effectively (verbal and written) on both a technical and business level
- Demonstrate ability to gather and understand requirements, Demonstrate good testing and defect management skills & Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and specifically QA process and test methodologies

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Over all 5+ years of testing experience & Minimum 3+ years of Hands On Automation testing experience
- Graduated in Computer science, Computer engineering, math, or related engineering fields (E.g B.Sc, B.E or MCA, M.Tech in Computers / Electronics etc.,)

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies
