**Job description**

**Responsibilities**
- Implement best practices for source control management, branching strategies, and release management in Salesforce projects.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for Salesforce code and configurations.
- Manage and optimize the Salesforce development environment, including sandboxes, scratch orgs, and version control systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues, performance bottlenecks, and other Salesforce platform-related issues.
- Implement security controls and compliance standards to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of Salesforce data.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, tools, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance our development and deployment processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on Salesforce development and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Salesforce projects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Administrator, with a focus on DevOps practices.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified DevOps Engineer are preferred.
- Mandatory certification in either Copado or Autorabit DevOps platforms.
- Proficiency in Salesforce development technologies including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and process improvement.
- Experience with Salesforce DX and Salesforce CLI is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce security and compliance standards such as GDPR and HIPAA is a plus.
