**Your role at Baxter**:
As a Research Associate III at Baxter, you will provide Sterility Assurance leadership and technical support to multi-disciplinary product development teams, domestic/international manufacturing facilities, Regulatory Affairs and internal Sterility Assurance customers. You will act as the Sterility Assurance Project Lead (Focal Point) for new product development, sustaining product support, and manufacturing facility VIP initiatives.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple Sterility Assurance-related projects and activities with mínimal guidance.
- Provide input for schedules, budget, product requirements, and design.
- Provide support for regulatory submissions and responses.
- Liaise with cross-functional project teams and manufacturing facilities to develop validation plans (i.e. Rationale Statements) and sterilization parameters for product development.
- Lead and support product development studies.
- Lead agile Sterility Assurance internal project meetings.
- Effectively communicate program status to multi-disciplinary project team members, management, key stakeholders.
- Provide support for complex investigations, troubleshooting, and CAPAs.
- Evaluate data/results relative to product requirements, definitions and/or program goals.
- May support sterilization validation activities onsite at manufacturing facilities with up to 20% travel.

**What you'll bring**:

- B.S. in Science and 8 + years related experience.
- General knowledge of sterilization modalities and regulatory requirements for sterile medical products (Moist Heat, Ethylene Oxide, Radiation [gamma, electron beam, X-ray], Aseptic Processing).
- Ability to drive complex decision-making and influence courses of action using both written and verbal methods.
- Ability to design experiments and draw meaningful conclusions from data using statistical methods such as descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics desirable.
- Effectively operate within and may facilitate cross-functional teams with mínimal guidance.
- Ability to provide solutions that reflect understanding of business objectives and cost implications.
