Infection Control Nurse

The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention and control programs within healthcare facilities. This role involves assessing infection risks, providing education and training, and ensuring compliance with infection control standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Infection Prevention and Control:
- Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures based on current guidelines and regulations.
- Conduct regular infection surveillance and data collection to monitor infection rates and trends.
- Analyze infection data and provide reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
Education and Training:
- Educate healthcare staff on infection control practices, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and sterilization techniques.
- Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing staff on infection prevention and control.
