- What you’ll do
- As Cloud Architect in the Cloud & Application group
- Develop, redesign our Cloud Solution to meet the Nonfunctional requirement of the business without disturbing the existing working
- Develop and maintain a cloud technology roadmap in the context of an IoT architecture and adoption process
- Establish and implement industry standards to deploy CloudOps Model, in line with the following
- Lead integration, automation, and functional improvements on top of existing infrastructure and deployment processes
- Assist with the input into the high-level time & cost estimates for the delivery of the technical features of the project
- Adherence to Cloud Security compliance and audit practices
- Develop and implement DevSecOps practices for Development and Deployment
- Develop a framework to guide compliance to NFR, Automation, Monitoring of the Cloud Application solutions, with standard practices of Backup & Recovery management, Disaster management, High availability, Blue-Green deployments
- Collaborate with architects, managers, and engineers to create and document robust infrastructure designs, to ensure designs meet the business requirements
- Integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to grow the business
- Act as a go-to person to engage new technology trends and industry practices in the Cloud architectures
- Drive the deployment of systems & services into AWS Infrastructure and optimize the consumption of platform components by providing design guidance
- Work closely with Enterprise, IT & Product security to monitor the company's Cloud privacy policies
- Defined Cloud Competency Standards & Practices
- Determine the correct sizing for the new solution with the creation of the Capacity Sizing Model
- Make practical, cost conscious and future proofing decisions, where possible, to keep System specific deployment customization to a minimum
- Build automation and selfheal where possible to provide a robust monitoring solution
- What you’ll need
- Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science engineering, Information Science, or equivalent
- 15+ years of total experience with minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in IOT product development using Web & Cloud Software technologies
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience as Architect in more than one of the Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Bluemix, Alibaba)
- Experience/Understanding of Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud Solutions positioning
- Have extensive knowledge of different open stack releases
- Knowledge of Cloud industry, mainly IaaS technologies as OpenStack APIs, VMWare Product Suietes, Linux Container technologies
- Licenses or certifications required for the position: AWS, IP, ISO27001/2, VPN, AZ, SQL, OSPF, GCP, CKAD, CKA
- Web Services Technologies: Web Services; Multithreaded Applications; Computer Networks; Computer Graphics; SQL/NoSQL Databases; Encryption; Realtime message brokers; Data Serialization; Application Frameworks; Authentication Frameworks
- Cloud Services Technologies: Container Technologies; Compute Services; Storage Services; Other Tools - Cloudwatch, Kinesis, Terraform, Cognito, VPCs, API Gateway, Route 53
- Software Development Tools: IDEs like Eclipse, JetBrains, PgAdmin, Angular IDE; Code quality tools like SonarQube, Coverity; Build tools like Make, GCC, Jenkins, Maven Ant; Source Control tools like Git, SVN, BitBucket; Release Repository like JFrog Artifactory
- An interest and strong working experience in agile development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe )
