Involves being part of Financial Modelling Data quality team, supporting Research division of a leading Investment bank. Will be part of a 4 member team (including a Crisil lead onshore), working on the Asiapac side.
Database maintenance, Data quality control activities
Constant communication with analysts and various stakeholders at Client end. Bridge between analysts and Technology teams
Manage the financial repository, end to end support on initiations, ranging from linking analysts models to standardized template, until Valuation related Model audits
Financial modelling / database support, handle crunch time queries for sell side analysts on the financial database, across asset classes - Equity / Fixed Income / Macro
Involve in strategic projects in the bank, contribute towards User Acceptance Testing - testing / suggesting enhancements
Has steep learning curve, being part of a team that has a long standing, fruitful & pivotal relationship with the Bank
Though primarily within Asia, there will be exposure across regions, globally, cross sector.
Financial modelling skills, especially with Data quality perspective
Real time decision making skills, good communication skills
Attention to detail and problem solving, focus on Cause / Effect and the big picture
Working knowledge of Financial databases, exposure to market data providers like Bloomberg, Eikon etc would be a plus
Stakeholder management and project management
Willingness to constantly learn and be a team player
Essential Qualifications
Post graduate in Finance preferred
