Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Direct and coordinate hotel financial planning and budget management functions, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare annual reports of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses, providing insights into the hotel's financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, providing strategic financial guidance to the hotel's management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Additional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position or 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of business acumen.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Fully conversant in and financial regulation standards.
