**A Senior Medical Coder’s Ideal Day at WWS**

**Synopsis evaluation. **Review claims to formulate a synopsis of facts and collaborate with claims examiners regarding the synopsis as needed, making corrections to draft reports sent for physician review and submit approved reports to management as scheduled.

**Regulatory compliance.** Perform all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. **Analyze data. **To retrieve and collect physician background info from various resources for reporting and analyze medical malpractice claims by identifying issues, events, diagnoses, and procedures that resulted in the action.
