Dgm Formulation Chemistry

**Description of Responsibility**
- Ability to develop novel robust agrochemicals formulations like EC,

SC, WG, WP, Microencapsulation, SSF, SE, Microbial formulation

etc.
- Identifying new formulations for the Pesticide (Insecticide,

Fungicide, Herbicides, Bio stimulants, PGR, secondary metabolites

and biopesticides) Define the experimental program that include the

development of new pesticide formulations, procedures/standards.
- Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction

opportunities by developing innovative formulations.
- Define the experimental program that includes the development of

new pesticide formulations, procedures/standards.
- provide the formulation design input required to define the process

equipment and quality assurance requirements to timescales and

specifications agreed with the Team or Group Leader.
- Design, prepare and develop stable and compatible agricultural

formulations for use in crop protection
- Develop new formulations of current and new products that provide

enhanced customer value and positively differentiate DAL products

from those of competitors
- Keep abreast of new developments in formulations science including

liquid and dry pesticide formulations and provide a technical resource

base for ideas and concepts for new formulations that will enhance

DAL products
- Define product and process specifications in collaboration with R&D,

Quality Assurance and Regulatory Team
- Work with DAL cross functional teams to define customer needs for

new products and establish a portfolio of formulation options to meet

these needs with appropriate deference to costs, technical feasibility

& regulatory compliance
- Contribute ideas aimed at advancing existing technologies or creating

new technologies, processes, or IP; Troubleshoot development issues

and strive for innovative solutions
- Lead the intellectual property effort as it relates to new formulations

and formulation technologies and ensure filing patents
- Proficiency in planning and administering standard tests for physical

evaluations of formulation stability and compatibility of

agrochemicals, bio stimulants and biological formulations (e.g. drift

analysis, rheology, particle size analyzers, DSC, TGA, emulsions,

FTIR, crystal morphology).
- Should be able to develop HPLC, GC-UV based methods for

conducting formulation analysis under GLP and Non-GLP modes

**Educational Qualification**:M.Sc/Ph.D (Chemistry/Agrochemical) from SAUs/ICAR/IIT

- Experience in GLP laboratory work

**Salary**: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
