- Assess respiratory conditions using diagnostic tests, including performing and interpreting Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT). Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and manage ventilators. Support critically ill patients, particularly in ICU settings. Perform CPR and assist with emergency procedures like intubation. Educate patients on managing respiratory conditions and using equipment. Operate and maintain respiratory care devices.
